Let's Travelling In Central Asia!


The mountainous country smallest country in Central Asia, but the traditional on ramp to the Silk Road from China. There are three main caravan routes ran through Tajikistan's Tien Shan and Pamir Mountains.

Only about 7% of the arable land, especially in the rich northern Fergana Valley, where the main crop, cotton makes aluminum and other major exporting countries.

Tajikistan's capital and largest city is Dushanbe, modern and European-style, wide, tree-lined boulevards and a spectacular background of snowy peaks. The city's numerous squares and monuments to commemorate the Persian influences of the past and its environs contain a number of recreational areas, parks, mountains, gorges and waterfalls, 100 feet high.

The National Museum of Archaeology contains the 1600 annual 'Tajik Buddha, is now thought to be the largest statue of its kind in Central Asia. The museum houses a display Zoroastrian and Buddhist objects.

Khujand is the second largest city and the ancient Silk Road trade center. Located at the entrance of the rich Fergana Valley, Khujand is mentioned in the easternmost city founded by Alexander the Great. As such, it has a rich history and many preserved architectural and cultural sites. This is a popular mountaineering center in a country where half the country is higher than 9,000 meters above sea level, with many peaks over 20,000 feet.

Near the border of Uzbekistan Penjikent one way from east to Samarkand and flourished from the fifth century. Arabs destroyed the city in the eight century and the ruins were discovered in the last hundred years. Today, the site of the discovery of a memorial reserve where tourists, a medieval fortress, palaces, public buildings, residential houses and a necropolis visit.

Halfway between Dushanbe and Penjikent emerald gem Iskander Kul (more). The lake at an altitude of 7000-4000 plus peaks of the Fan Mountains, where there are many other places, hiking, fishing or skiing in Dushanbe resident.

East of the larger Kara Kul situated between the high, barren highlands, and yak grazing ERRI environment reminiscent of Tibet. Lake is often accessed through Kyrgyzstan, heading west from Osh.
